Take your first mock test and we'll track how ready you are.
Know your current office-holders
The printed guide names the Queen, but these change over time. The test may ask who currently holds these roles, so memorise the up-to-date answers (June 2026):
- Head of state (the Sovereign): King Charles III
- Governor General: Mary Simon (Louise Arbour is installed as the next Governor General on June 8, 2026)
- Prime Minister (head of government): Mark Carney
- Also know: the premier of your province or territory, your provincial lieutenant governor, and the name of your member of Parliament (MP).

Mistake book
Every question you've missed — on a test or in practice — is collected here. Answer one correctly twice in a row to "master" it and retire it from your review list. With Adaptive review on, these are mixed back into new tests automatically.
Flagged questions
Questions you bookmark with the ⚑ Flag button during a test are saved here until you remove them — handy for marking ones you want to revisit. Flagging is independent of your Mistake Book.
